A new expertise just being cultivated in this studio and sprinkled into a yoga class here and there, Pilates mat work gets to core and posture and intentional movement and holds through every limb.  It’s an interesting challenge, it can be life-changing, and it will be in the future of the studio.  Pilates is a natural connection between yoga and general fitness techniques, taken from participation in the gym world and reading on strengthening and physio blogs and reports.  It’s all connected, and can have a place in today’s yoga classes.
